Here at Shepherd’s Center, we also had a “Beginners” computer class for three consecutive Saturdays last month. A huge thank you goes out to the instructor for the class, Dan Bassett. Over 20 individuals were on hand to learn the basics of computer use, including email…Facebook…pictures, etc. If anyone missed this class and is interested in having Shepherd’s Center conduct it again, please let us know.

I briefly want to mention that our programs offered through Shepherd’s Center are entirely supported by donations and fundraising activities. Your contributions throughout the year are used to fund and administer the various programs we offer to support the seniors in the Cannon Valley. You can donate to Shepherd’s Center in a variety of ways and all donations are tax deductible. Donations may be sent throughout the year to Shepherd’s Center, 120 W. State Street, Cannon Falls, MN 55009. We had memorial donations this past month honoring Ruth Raven and Ray Davisson.
The date for the Spring Fashion Show has been set, and its Wednesday, March 30th. Those attending will enjoy watching locals modeling the newest styles for spring and summer, from BonWorth Fashions, located in the Medford Outlet Mall. The entire focus of BonWorth is to serve the mature woman shopper…they create more than 190 collections per year. Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase clothing at the style show if they desire. A few more models are needed for the show, and anyone interested is asked to contact Shepherd’s Center.
